The map shows the location of the house in Parktown North where the brothers grew up for the first 20-odd years of their lives. Towards the bottom right is the site of the church where they were all altar boys.
Imagine cycling east up 12th Ave and then Rosebank Rd (mostly steep) turning left onto Cradock Ave (flat) and then down Melville Rd (downhill) you would arrive after about a mile and a turn or two (off the map) at the brothers' school. All three did it every day for about 9 years. This is why they all have such shapely legs enabling them to attract fine wives.
