The pictures below are from two gatherings of the Smith branch of the family in the 1970s. Between them they show most, though not all, family members around at the time. The first is the birthday of George and Ruth at Fish Hoek in the Cape in 1975. The other was taken at David's home in Randburg near Johannesburg to mark a rare visit by brother Paul to South Africa in 1979. There are sixty two different faces, not counting duplications.
